U.S. Air Force Lt. Colonel providing pedo-support for CNN group as multiple judicial communities run around like rats!
by Timothy Charles Holmseth on July 1, 2017 at 11:27 A.M. CST
The pedophile-ringa-a-palooza in the Red River Valley of North Dakota and Minnesota is going international as pedogaters use President Donald Trump’s telephone number to intimidate publisher that is unraveling their enterprise.
From the murder of Caylee Anthony, to the kidnapping of HaLeigh Cummings, to the murder of JonBenet Ramsey, to the total bull-shit story the public was recently given about Jacob Wetterling, the goblins are running around like rats!
On Sunday, June 25, 2017, Timothy Charles Holmseth filed a formal complaint to the Office of the Inspector General at the U.S. Department of Defense regarding an Air Force officer, who is the son of the president of a group called Specialized investigative Consultants, Inc. that traffics in persons.
On June 28, 2017, one of the most disturbing people in the North Dakota judicial system, former military officer, now Grand Forks States Attorney David Jones, has asked the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office to prosecute accused child rapist George Lyons.
And hell – it only took eight years. Here’s what the Grand Forks Herald is reporting.
[George] Lyons’ case is being prosecuted by the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office, not the Grand Forks County State’s Attorney’s Office. Assistant Attorney General Britta K. Demello Rice is prosecuting the case for the state.
“This office is prosecuting the case at the request of the county’s state’s attorney,” Liz Brocker, spokeswoman for the Attorney General’s Office, told the Herald via email.
Brocker [N.D. Attorney General’s Office] deferred comment on why the request was made to the Grand Forks County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Grand Forks County State‘s Attorney David Jones declined to comment.
Of course he declined.
I’ll comment for scumbag Jones.
The reason the Grand Forks State’s Attorney’s Office asked the Attorney General to file the charges is because the Grand Forks State’s Attorney’s Office is COMPROMISED by a pedophile ring that involves Lyons.
By the way – I have express knowledge of court proceeding in Florida involving sex abuse by Lyons against a child in that State (he’s been all over the place).
Google ‘child porn’ and ‘University of North Dakota’ and see what you get.
Jones can’t bring the charges because Lyons says he’s engaged to be married to Assistant Grand Forks States Attorney Jodi Bass, which was announced on Bed Bath and Beyond and Facebook.
I know… how sweet, right?
Somebody should ask scumbag Jones what he does in his spare time with the boys down at the lodge.
Now ask yourself…Why is the State of North Dakota bringing charges for crimes Lyons committed in 2009-2010?
Lyons was charged in Polk County, Minnesota in late December 2015 after the Polk County Goblins (Lt. Rodney Hajicek, EGF City Attorney Ronald Galstad, EGF Police Chief Michael Hedund, Polk County Attorney Greg Widseth, Pine to Prairie Task Force Commander Aeisso Schrage) could no longer hold off charging him because of mounting pressure on their end.
The Polk County Goblins are up to their eyeballs in a child sex trafficking and a baby-porn cover-up that involves providing material support for an operation called Specialized Investigative Consultants, Inc., which is receiving assistance from the United States Air Force.
The sex trafficking ring involves CNN, the military, and baby-snatchers that identify themselves as FBI and CIA agents.

“They’re bad people – there’s something wrong with them”
by Timothy Charles Holmseth on March 19, 2017, 6:03 P.M. CST
President Donald Trump recently described the criminal mental illness at work within elements of the American media.
During a recent interview with Jesse Watters on FOX News, President Trump commented on the recent acquisition and publication of his private tax returns by the weirdoes at MSNBC.
“They’re bad people – there’s something wrong with them,” Trump said.
Trump was referring to news media figures such as Rachael Maddow, who published his 2005 tax returns, and appeared to be physically vibrating with excitement that she was able to use a national television platform to do something that was bad and wrong.
But this freakish activity by cult-like weirdoes that appear to get a thrill up their leg when engaging in deception is quite common.
Trump’s characterization, describes exactly, what is occurring at Forum Communications and within an organized criminal cartel operating in North Dakota and Minnesota.
“They just don’t respect the law and we have to change that,” Trump said.
In 2016, Write Into Action discovered the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) is engaging in systemic corruption and criminal collusion with many North Dakota States Attorney’s offices to cover up true facts surrounding police shootings and other serious crimes.
Most of the efforts appear to conceal an international drug trafficking operation that involves bad actors within local and state police, along with the United States Border Patrol and the Grand Forks Air Force Base.
The Office of North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem (BCI) regularly colludes with State Prosecutors to utilize Forum Communications to fool the public regarding investigations.
Write Into Action’s most recent discovery of Forum Communications conspiring against the public involves the tragic death of Fargo Police Officer Jason Moszer.
Moszer was shot in the line of duty in February, 2016.
Forum Communications reported, categorically, that Officer Moszer was shot and killed by Marcus Schumacher.
Schumacher was subsequently encouraged, during negotiations, to kill himself. He was then shot by a SWAT sniper.
Acting upon tips from the public, Write Into Action initiated an independent journalistic investigation into the Schumacher/Moszer shooting case.
There are no BCI reports or ballistic tests that support what Forum Communications reported to the public.
Evidence does clearly show Moszer was accidently shot and killed by friendly fire from a fellow officer in a dark alley in what appears to be a tragic case of mistaken identity (Write Into Action is presently preparing that for future publication).
Cass County States Attorney Birch Burdick colluded with WDAY-TV (Forum Communications) during a sit down interview to use ‘fake news’ to fool the public about what happened and falsely accuse Marcus Schumacher of shooting Officer Moszer.
The regular practice of the ‘fake news’ deception by Forum Communications is a polished one.
THE SCHEME EXPLAINED
North Dakota States Attorneys and/or Forum Communications news presenters will refer to the ‘BCI investigation’ when explaining the basis for an official decision.
It’s a trick.
According to the BCI, their agency only processes the crime scene and conducts interviews. The BCI maintains it does not submit an opinion, make recommendations, or influence the decision-making process of the State Prosecutor in any way (beyond turning over its reports).
Essentially – the State Prosecutor and Forum Communications trick the public into believing the BCI made a recommendation and its simply being followed.
It’s a trick.
Write Into Action has discovered States Attorney’s across the state of North Dakota have been regularly using this trick to fool the public.
This illusion was used by Pembina County States Attorney Ryan Bialas when Pembina County Deputy Brad Bowman shot Clifford Edward Monteith III on a rural highway late at night.
In this case, an eye witness, Sara Letexier, told police she pulled up onto the scene and witnessed Monteith lying on the highway, which did not match the official story that cleared the officer in the shooting.
Bialas told Write Into Action that the BCI were the investigators. He then claimed the BCI told him Letexier was mistaken in his observation.
The BCI reports make no such statement, whatsoever.
However – the BCI never steps forward to correct the false impressions being created by the States Prosecutors in these cover ups.
DECEPTION EXAMPLE / OFFICER MOSZER SHOOTING
Forum Communications used news reporters and presenters to make the most defamatory of the statements (e.g. – a WDAY presenter unequivocally stated Marcus Schumacher shot Officer Moszer) to be made about the case.
WDAY Producers cleverly sprinkled quotes from States Attorney Birch Burdick into the fake news segment. The Burdick quotes complimented the lies told by the WDAY presenter (without requiring Burdick, himself, to lie outright on TV) thus creating the illusion, in the subconscious mind of the viewer, that the WDAY presenter’s comments were based upon official statements from Burdick.
But they weren’t – it was a mind trick.
MORE PROOF OF COLLUSION
Write Into Action obtained evidence of blatant fake news deception by Forum Communications regarding their news coverage of a police shooting in Grand Fork, North Dakota.
In February, 2015, a University of North Dakota campus police officer emptied his entire clip into an unarmed man, David James Elliott, who was trying to reach the safety of the Altru Hospital Emergency Room without getting shot.
Write Into Action began ordering police cam videos of the shooting, which appeared to activate collusion behind the scenes between WDAZ-TV (Forum Communications) and the Grand Forks Police Department.
Before Write Into Action was able to obtain the videos, WDAZ announced they would be publishing videos from the night of the David Elliott shooting.
WDAZ producers and GFPD Police Chief Mark Nelson conspired to conceal the time-stamps of the police body-cams. Producers strategically covered the time-stamp with Staci Van Dyke’s shoulder. In a second clip, they placed the WDAZ logo over the time-stamp.
Grand Forks States Attorney David Jones completely cleared Jerad Braaten, the officer that shot David Elliott, despite the fact Braaten got rid of his dash-cam and tried to hide his body-cam under his squad car (Write Into Action has obtained a video of the shooting which will be released in the future).
No evidence even remotely supports Jones’ conclusion published in a bizarre undated letter.
In 2016, George Lyons, was arrested in Polk County, Minnesota for first degree sexual assault upon a young minor girl. Lyon’s then announced on his Facebook page that he was engaged to be married to an Assistant State Prosecutor at the Grand Forks County States Attorney’s office; his entire case file then disappeared from the Minnesota Court’s register of actions.
The collective behavior pattern of Forum Communications and North Dakota public officials is destructive to the health of our society, and only serves to create a sick culture that is friendly and conducive to organized crime and violent pedophiles.
Normal people that want to raise their children in a safe community understand the difference between right and wrong.
Trump’s characterization of these people could not be said any better.
“They’re bad people – there’s something wrong with them”.
by Timothy Charles Holmseth on October 12, 2016, 11:06 A.M. CST
Timothy Charles Holmseth, publisher, Write Into Action, was contacted Tuesday by an attorney named Winston C. Mathis after publishing a story regarding Clinton Global and ongoing efforts by operatives to implicate Donald J. Trump.
Holmseth has no prior relationship with Mathis.
The story, ‘Clinton Global implicated by child sex operatives targeting Donald J. Trump’ reveals there is an intelligence operation targeting both Holmseth and Trump.
Mathis requested legal documents from Holmseth.
“I have practiced law for 20 years and have had the misfortune of filing a civil RICO complaint. At the time, my research showed that a great number of impediments had been placed in their way,” Mathis said.
Holmseth has reached out to Attorney Winston Clint Mathis, Arkadelphia, Arkansas regarding the matter.
Holmseth is seeking to determine if the communication was made by Attorney Mathis.
Creepy cops and their satanic graveyard polluting the State
Does the North Dakota body-cam scam and police shooting cover-up spell bad news for Governor Jack Dalrymple?
Dalrymple was named as an agriculture advisor to Donald Trump in August.
Dalyrmple’s seemingly connections to police corruption and drug trafficking in North Dakota could harm Trump’s vision to make America great again through ‘law and order’.
Any indication that Trump is connected to blood money obtained through black operations acquired through international drug trade could spur the Republican candidate to show he’s on the up and up – and dump Dalrymple.
Here’s Dalrymple’s unaddressed baggage.
On February 27, 2015, federal officials unsealed a case that involved international drug trafficking, overdose deaths, and money laundering.
That same day, David James Elliott was hunted down and shot by a University of North Dakota cop in a hospital parking lot, while across town at the same time; Caitlin Jenna Erickson, a young mother, was being murdered in her apartment.
Write Into Action discovered the police only pretended to investigate Caitlin Erickson’s death. Erickson’s neighbor, Desiree Gomez, told police she could hear the yelling and screaming and banging between Erickson and the last person to see her alive.
Although the suspect told police he left Erickson and returned to find her dead, records from the Grand Forks Police do not even name the person’s multiple alibis. The investigation was so incompetent the reporting officer actually referred to an alleged alibi as the “dude”.
Gomez told Write Into Action she is afraid for her children because the man has been hanging around her home.
Write Into Action would later learn a group of UND football players had been quietly expelled for trafficking drugs from out of state into North Dakota.
One by one, dead bodies were found – overdoses.
The body count continues to rise.
Law and order in North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota no longer appears to be anything other than secret police and fraternal organizations privately scheming during secret meetings to kill off witnesses with fentanyl and mislead the public through their media arm – Forum Communications.
Dalrymple’s major problem is his silence about the well established network of organized criminals that include ND AG Wayne Stenehjem and Grand Forks County States Attorney David Jones.
Evidence shows Jones, a creepy former U.S. military attorney, is deeply involved in the cover-up of the attempted murder of Elliott.
Grand Forks States Attorney David Jones
In 2015, Jones declined to prosecute University of North Dakota Police officer Jerad Braaten after Braaten shot Elliott – an unarmed man.
Jones justified his decision in a letter published by the Grand Forks Herald where he claimed the 911 and police-cam evidence didn’t implicate Braaten.
But it did implicate Braaten – big time.
The American public was never supposed to see the evidence or hear the 911 recordings of Elliott’s 107 minute call to PSAP as police stalked him from county to county – as Elliott desperately tried to get to Altru hospital where he would be safe.
Body cam evidence obtained by Write Into Action shows Braaten was stalking Elliott and made countless calculated decisions that clearly demonstrated he was cynically planning to shoot Elliott as soon as he could get a shot.
North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem’s investigative arm, the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), conducted the required investigation of the police shooting.
BCI investigation records obtained by Write Into Action reveal what really happened and the truth could be a disaster for Dalrymple.
BCI evidence shows the shooter, Braaten, was not scheduled to work on the night in question and was not wearing ‘regular uniform’.
UNDPD records show as many as seven UND police officers all assembled at the same location – just as the Elliott pursuit began.
BCI interviews shows Braaten deliberately moved his body cam to his shoulder, which resulted in no useful video being captured. While Braaten’s body-cam was found underneath his squad car (where he and other officers tried to hide it), his dash cam disappeared altogether.
It is IMPOSSIBLE Grand Forks States Attorney David Jones did not observe these things.
Braaten was captured on recording as he conspired against Elliott with a female UNDPD intern, Heather Hopkins, who was in his car with him at the time.
After the shooting, Hopkins is heard agreeing to swear that Elliott almost ran over a police officer; thus justifying Braaten shooting him. But when questioned by BCI investigators Hopkins said she couldn’t see what happened.
“My conclusion is that Officer Braaten’s actions were objectionably reasonable in light of the facts and circumstances confronting him, and known to him. He was forced to make a split second decision about the amount of force necessary to bring the situation under control and it is my conclusion that his actions did meet the objectionable reasonableness standard,” Jones said.
That’s a lie.
Jones is exposed by troves of evidence that shows Braaten did NOT make a “split second decision”. Rather, Braaten engaged in on-going misconduct and took very careful measures to hide what he was about to do.
Jones knows the evidence showed Braaten was attempting to incite a confrontation with Elliott; and Braaten attempted to shoot Elliott several minutes before the actual shooting but failed because his gun jammed.
Likewise – the Grand Forks Police Department advanced the cover-up by editing, altering, and improperly redacting police cam evidence obtained by Write into Action.
When busted – Grand Forks Police Chief Mark Nelson issued a Special Order to change the retention dates of the police cams Write Into Action was requesting so the police could destroy them.
Jones and North Dakota law enforcement officials including ND AG Stenehjem, GFPD Mark Nelson, Sheriff Bob Rost, and UND Police Chief Eric Plummer have blown the creepy-guy-meter off the charts.
Nelson hired Braaten onto the GFPD after the shooting; and Plummer hired Hopkins.
Grand Forks County Sheriff Bob Rost, whose deputies gave impossible timelines and placed themselves at the Grand Forks Air Force Base on the night of the Elliott shooting, has announced that his Department has purchased body-cams and deputies have begun to wear them. “I just want to be more transparent with the public,” Rost told the Grand Forks Herald.
Rost is named as a Defendant in a federal lawsuit filed by Timothy Charles Holmseth involving body-cam evidence, and is accused of being an active conspirator in the police shooting cover-up along with several others.
PETITIONER alleges DEFENDANTS are violating; and conspiring to violate; state and federal statutes.
The criminal conspiracy involves, but is not limited to, GFPD officer (former UNDPD officer) Jerad Braaten, UNDPD Chief of Police Eric Plummer, GFPD Chief of Police Mark Nelson, Grand Forks County Sheriff Bob Rost, GFPD Lt. Derik Zimmel, UNDPD Sgt. Danny Weigel, Grand Forks States Attorney David Jones.
PETITIONER has been notified by the Grand Forks Police Department that said agency intends to destroy police body-cam and dash-cam public records regarding the pursuit and shooting of David James Elliott (hereby referred to as the ‘Elliott Event’) that occurred on February 27-28, 2015 in the State of North Dakota.
PETITIONER seeks for the Federal Court to halt any and all destruction of files pertaining to the Elliott Event.
“There is so much video that is missing its unreal as it seems all the sudden at the end of the chase everyone’s video that would and is the most important disappeared like a fart in the wind. Oh, but after the shooting it’s a freaking miracle off the sudden their body cams and all are working just fine,” David James Elliott told Write Into Action.
North Dakota law enforcement never solved the Wal-Mart shooting in July of 2015 that happened at the hands of Grand Forks Airman Marcell Willis who shot complete strangers for no reason – killing an old man.
One witness to the shooting at Wal-Mart said Willis had a very contorted look on his face and every time he pulled the trigger he yelled out a specific word first
He then killed himself.
Donald Trump may be in over his head with the State of North Dakota where the Creepy Clowns have nothing on these creeps.
North Dakota national image in death spiral
by Timothy Charles Holmseth on September 30, 2016, 8:52 A.M. CST
There was an intern riding in the police car with a University of North Dakota rookie campus cop that emptied his clip into an unarmed man in a Grand Forks hospital parking lot in 2015.
So, what did witness Heather Hopkins tell State investigators?
Write Into Action is attempting to find out.
On September 9, 2016, Write Into Action submitted a public records request to the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation for their interview with Heather Hopkins.
|September 9, 2016
Attached you will find an attached file of the Heather Hopkins interview with the BCI following the David Elliott shooting.
I am requesting an audio copy of the interview.
BCI public information Liz Brocker responded on September 13, 2016.
|September 13, 2016
As soon as I have an estimate of the charges for this record, I will let you know. I hope to be able to provide the estimate in the next couple of days. Liz
As of today the BCI has not gotten back to Write Into Action with a simple quote for the audio interview.
It can’t be good, folks.
UND police officer Jerad Braaten can be heard cynically whispering to Hopkins on the audio portion of Braaten’s body-cam, which was obtained by Write Into Action through a previous public records request. The suspicious body cam (conveniently) shows almost no images whatsoever but does captures audio.
Braaten and Hopkins are clearly stalking David James Elliott and conspiring to force an altercation so Braaten can shoot him. The worst kept secret is the fact Braaten attempted to shoot Elliott several minutes before the actual shooting but his gun jammed.
Law enforcement in North Dakota immediately began covering up what happened – and never stopped.
Write Into Action’s investigation into the shooting has led to information about the murder of Caitlin Jenna Erickson who was killed in her Grand Forks apartment on the same night; right around the time Elliott was shot.
The mysterious deaths and rampant corruption appears to be connected to a drug trafficking operation that involves police officers.
Braaten’s body-cam was found by State investigators underneath his squad car.
Braaten is heard talking about the pursuit and shooting with fellow police officers, highway patrolmen, and/or deputies when the body-cam lens briefly catches the cam being physically picked up and moved under the car. Only the loud engine can be heard from that point on.
There is no record of Braaten’s dash-cam being seized (because he got rid of it).
Timothy Charles Holmseth has filed a lawsuit – HOLMSETH V CITY OF GRAND FORKS ET AL in federal court against multiple North Dakota agencies in pursuit of all records surrounding the police shooting.
Holmseth filed the lawsuit after Grand Forks Police Chief Mark Nelson abruptly issued a ‘Special Order’ changing the retention dates of police cam evidence, so he could stop Write Into Action’s investigation and Constitutionally protected reporting.
The cynical appearance of rampant police corruption and organized criminal activity involving law enforcement running operations thorough the University of North Dakota and the Grand Forks Air Force Base has happened under the nose of U.S. Attorney Chris Meyer.
Holmseth has turned over videos to North Dakota Governor Jack Dalrymple who appears to be complacent in the shadow government activity. Dalrymple was selected by presidential candidate Donald Trump to serve as an advisor.
North Dakota’s leaders are showing themselves as killers, drug traffickers, thugs, and gangsters.
Not good for America.

North Dakota Governor Jack Dalyrmple, Donald Trump’s tentative agriculture advisor, is tangled up in a police shooting cover-up regarding a 2015 police shooting of an un-armed man in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
Details of the multi-agency cover-up of the police shooting is set forth in HOLMSETH V. CITY OF GRAND FORKS ET AL.
Gov. Dalrymple has been contacted by Plaintiff Timothy Holmseth regarding this matter.

Dear Governor Dalrymple,
First, I would like to congratulate you on your appointment to Donald Trump’s advisory committee.
Certainly, as a trusted advisor to the president of the United States, public safety and on goings within law enforcement in the state of North Dakota will surely reflect upon both of you.
Mr. Trump’s declaration to be the “law and order” president will certainly be affected by the people he surrounds himself with.
I am contacting you today in regards to a serious public safety issue that is plaguing North Dakota and surrounding areas.
Plainly spoken – elements of law enforcement operating in North Dakota have developed a multi-agency network to operate a criminal syndicate that is running drugs and killing people. This network is being run through law enforcement in Grand Forks and the University of North Dakota.
As an investigative journalist I became very focused on two cases that occurred in Grand Forks on February 27-28, 2014.
- The police shooting of David James Elliott (an unarmed man)
- The unsolved murder of Caitlin Jenna Erickson
The evidence of a cover-up by officials in the David Elliott shooting is so magnificently profound and disturbingly arrogant, its spiritual roots must slither up from the same source that compels Hillary Clinton’s arrogance as she dismisses evidence showing she destroyed emails and casually watched as men were tortured to death in Benghazi.
I’ll be direct – North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem’s BCI and Attorney David Jones at the Grand Forks States Attorney’s Office factually KNOW a UND police officer attempted to murder an unarmed man (David Elliott) in a hospital parking lot.
These cretans factually know the University of North Dakota Police Department, Grand Forks Police Department and Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office assisted in hiding the truth from the public.
Efforts by law enforcement to suppress the truth about what I discovered became so obnoxious and blatant that in the summer of 2016, Mark Nelson, the chief of police at the GFPD issued a Special Order so the officer body and dash cam evidence of the David Elliott shooting could be destroyed before I could access and report on it.
Understanding you have the “law and order” president’s ear; I am alerting you to this public safety crisis in North Dakota and Northern Minnesota. It would be very unfortunate if Mr. Trump’s reputation was tainted by connections to such odious underworld activities by trusted officials that pop up on his staff.
Enclosed you will find two videos I produced using police cam evidence I was able to obtain before the City of Grand Forks and PSAP stopped providing public records to me citing federal court case HOLMSETH V. CITY OF GRAND FORKS ET AL. and deeming the records legal Discovery.

“Dear Mr. Wellstone: I was a police officer…”
by Timothy Charles Holmseth on July 8, 2016, 7:01 P.M. CST
Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton posed a rhetorical question upon learning of the police shooting death of Philando Castile on Wednesday.
“Would this have happened if those passengers, the driver and the passengers, were white?”
– Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton
Congressional records obtained by Write Into Action reveal Gov. Dayton has simply posed the wrong question.
The real question is…
Would this have happened if the U.S. DOJ and FBI had properly acted upon a referral from former Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone regarding a Minnesota police officer that came forward about abuse and mysterious deaths in the State?
The proper question may sit within the four cryptic words continuously repeated by presidential candidate Donald Trump regarding the truth behind our government and it’s bizarre spiral into insanity. .
“There’s something going on. It’s inconceivable. There’s something going on.”
– Donald J. Trump
The document dump obtained by Write Into Action is disturbing beyond measure and supports Trump’s cynical code-speak.
Essentially – the FBI and U.S. Attorney General’s office appear to have deliberately run out the clock to avoid acting on information received from a 15 year veteran of a police force in Minnesota, which exposed horrific prisoner abuse and may have prevented a graveyard’s worth of mysterious deaths.
The 15 year career of former East Grand Forks Police officer and investigator Gary Deitz ended in termination after he broke ‘The Blue Code’.
The evidence obtained by Deitz was so powerful he actually captured a fellow police officer, Rodney Hajicek, on tape, stating he planned to lie to investigators about an investigation of the Department. Hajicek went onto to become the ranking police officer at the EGFPD; where he remains to this day.
Serious questions are now being raised as to how many congressional complaints and legitimate referrals from police officers and patriotic whistleblowers have been swept under the rug in Minnesota.
As state and federal law enforcement across the nation now brace for what could be a firestorm of violence following the fatal police shooting of Castile; the truth is the American public may only be watching tragic theater.
Sen. Wellstone’s files reveal Minnesota authorities, as well as the DOJ, FBI, and Special Litigations Section in Washington D.C., have long possessed very specific and actionable evidence of police abuse and widespread public corruption in Minnesota at the ‘pattern and practice’ level.
In 1997 Wellstone contacted the Justice Department and requested an inquiry regarding the information provided by Deitz.
Deitz’s initial correspondence with Sen. Wellstone rings sadly tragic today.
Dear Mr. Wellstone:
I was a police officer with the City of East Grand Forks for 15 years. In October 1991, I went to the FBI with many concerns about the city of East Grand Forks, city officials, and most important the abuse of prisoners by police officers. I have developed a heart condition, depression, and Post Traumatic Stress. The Post Traumatic Stress was due to the beating of Jon Osowski and the fact that they covered the incident and did nothing about it. Yet, the beatings continue. The Grand Forks office of the FBI is allegedly looking into the abuse of Dean Bass (dislocated arm while in custody in December 1995) and Neil DesJarlais (three broken ribs while in custody in April 1996) both of them were in custody of the East Grand Forks police department and both are American Indian males.
Subsequent communications between Sen. Wellstone, the Justice Department, and the FBI show Deitz turned over troves of actionable information regarding prisoner abuse and mysterious deaths after eye-witnessing a man beaten to within an inch of his life in the EGF police station.
Write Into Action continues to review the documents.
As public figures, national leaders, and politicians, from President Barack Obama, to Gov. Mark Dayton, to Donald Trump, now grapple with the mindless death cult sweeping the nation, it just may be the solution begins with recognizing the true tragedy of the words…
“Dear Mr. Wellstone: I was a police officer…”
