‘Secret’ death in Grand Forks

Did North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem and law enforcement officials conspire with the Grand Forks Herald to cover up the connection between a police shooting of an unarmed man in the Altru Hospital parking lot, and a transnational drug trafficking operation in the State?

Parents of children in North Dakota and Minnesota should pass this article to everyone they know.

Here’s why.

Somebody died of an overdose in Grand Forks, North Dakota on February 27, 2015.

Google it – you won’t find it.

But it happened.

Somebody died on that day.

Today, Write Into Action requested the Grand Forks Police Department (GFPD) turn over public records regarding the overdose death.

“I am requesting all police reports, notes, logs, and ledgers regarding the “drug overdose” on 47th Avenue in Grand Forks on February 27, 2015 that was mentioned by Officer Chris Brown in Paragraph A of his interview with the BCI regarding the David James Elliott shooting. This drug overdose is also mentioned in Paragraph B of the BCI report of Corporal Wes Vert,” Write Into Action said.

Lt. Derik Zimmel, GFPD, replied to the request. “I will forward your request regarding the first request for consideration by our Records Administration Bureau,” he said.

Not readily available, eh?

The reason why it isn’t available might be a serious public health risk that involves law enforcement officers trafficking drugs that are killing people on an unprecented scale.

The overdose death mentioned in the BCI report occurred on February 27, 2015; that’s the same day UND police officer Jerad Braaten shot David James Elliott in the Altru Hospital parking lot.

But there is a huge problem here, folks.

On that very same day, according to a press release published by the Department of Justice on July 28, 2015, Ryan Jon Jensen, 20, Grand Forks, pled guilty in federal court to very serious drug trafficking charges.

Ryan Jensen Pleads Guilty on February 27

So – why did the Grand Forks Herald wait until March 4, 2015 to report the Ryan Jensen guilty plea? And why didn’t they give the date of the plea?

Ryan Jon Jensen Pleads Guilty Herald March 4 2015

Did the Grand Forks Herald collude with North Dakota law enforcement agencies to ‘hold’ the Ryan Jon Jensen plea story for a week so the public would not make the connection between the Jensen plea and the David James Elliott shooting?

All three events (i.e. – plea deal, mysterious death in Grand Forks, David Elliott pursuit and shooting) happened on the SAME DAY.

Everything about the David Elliott pursuit and shooting points to drug trafficking that involves law enforcement officers.

David Elliott possessed thousands of pills that were found in his pick-up by the BCI after he was shot. Nobody was ever criminally charged regarding those drugs.

David Elliott called 911 shortly after police began pursuing him on February 27, 2015. Nobody has ever heard the 107 minute call where Elliott was negotiating with GFPD Matt Bullinger about something.

No media including the Herald, Valley News, FOX, or any other outlet has ever requested the 911 records despite it involving a police shooting of an unarmed man.

Write Into Action attempted to obtain the 911 records and was quoted $500.00. Write Into Action subsequently requested the first seven minutes of the 911 call and made a down payment.

The public records request still has not been filled after 21 days.

UND DOCUMENTARY

The University of North Dakota produced a touching documentary about fentanyl deaths in the area.

READ Write Into Action’s previous reports on this case and then decide if UND, Altru Health System, Choice Financial, Wayne Stenehjem’s BCI, and law enforcement are playing the public like suckers with their videos and DARE program; while they traffic drugs.
